Wat Sisangvone Photo Gallery

Almost all villages in Laos and Isan, regardless of their size, have their own wat. All the temples are unique in the way they artistically display imagery that teaches the dhamma and inspires the lay people to become even more devout Buddhists. In greater Vientiane (the capital of Laos), where there are more than 200 wat, we recently discovered Wat Sisangvone, which is truly a sight to behold, a showcase for sculptures, reliefs, and murals depicting both Buddha images and Jātaka murals, including reliefs of Sinxay and Nyak Koumphan.
